MASP’s Bound Programs are a year-long experience for motivated first-year students who are first-generation college students and/or members of historically excluded communities. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and connect to opportunities in their area (and related areas) of interest and build a strong and inclusive community with students who have similar academic interests. There are three Bound Programs, one for each of the divisions in Arts & Sciences: Arts & Humanities Bound, Science Bound, and Social Science Bound.

My team conducted exoplanet research with the transit photometry method. We used an 800 mm (32 in) telescope with a large focal size and length to observe distant and dark objects. We developed a wide field finderscope to solve pointing accuracy issues and used CMOS instead of CCD to secure the advantage in readout time. As a result, my team won the gold medal for two consecutive years in the 10th and 11th grades. By extension, we presented this research at the poster presentation of the 2023 Korean Earth Science Society Spring Conference.

This is a student organization in which students of the Geumjeong-gu meet to discover and solve local problems. I researched the human rights issues of local youth labor with my team members. My team benchmarked the Dutch policy and designated safe jobs for each age group. We presented a policy proposal to the head of Geumjeong-gu to improve youth labor rights education and create youth jobs in connection with the local community.
