Business Officer
Current• Budget Management, contract processing and tracking, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable for a $738,447,480 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) budget and a $1,541,554 Operating budget• Update Web Page for the department• Coordinate, participate, and lead committees in the Combined Campaign (United Way)• Human Resources representative• Payroll representative• Manage 1 employee• Process/Track contracts and Consultant List• Reconcile credit card purchases for 13 employees• Reconcile department financial database with Wake County financial system• Create and distribute reports and 5-year project schedules• Responsible for the logistics of moving the department down a floor and upgrading the equipment• Create several Access databases in order to improve business processes• Research technology and programs for employees• Make travel arrangements for employees• Register employees for conferences and seminars• Troubleshoot computer problems for employees• Track training and inventory information• Maintain/Inventory/Order office supplies• Train employees on computer programs and new procedures• Maintain office equipment and call in work orders for equipment and office repairs
