Sevda Arslan, Ph.D., serves as the Program Director for Faculty Support and Partnerships with Notre Dame International (NDI). In this role, Sevda’s work focuses on supporting the growth of research and scholarship activities at Notre Dame’s global locations and deepening partnerships with international universities and relationships with funding sources to achieve the University’s strategic global goals. She also works with University Relations and across the division to manage effective stewardship reporting.Before joining NDI, Sevda worked as the Student Grants Program Manager for the Institute of Scholarship in the Liberal Arts (ISLA) at the University of Notre Dame. At ISLA, she oversaw the Institute's internal funding programs for both undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Arts and Letters. She received her Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame. As a linguistic and sociocultural anthropologist, she specialized in migration, religion, and ethnic minority studies in Germany.
