Network and Research Engineer with deep network and software engineering interests. The main interest is related to networks of the future and topics/techniques/applications related to it:- Segment Routing (SR-MPLS & SRv6)- Applications/Software related to Networking (Cloud-native, high-scalable, etc.)- Routing/Switching Protocols & Approaches (especially IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS & SR)- Network Design/Architecture- Software-Defined Networks - Network Automation- Network Programmability/Testing- Cyber Security (most notably Network Security)Through my education and practical experience, I have broad knowledge in the areas of system engineering, network engineering, and development. Currently, I'm involved in different projects related to networks (especially SRv6 and network applications). Moreover, I am focused on different research projects related to Segment Routing and (cloud-native) related applications. Additionally, I supervise various courses (network fundamentals, advanced network technologies, cloud infrastructure) at the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland.
