Coordination and communication between Volunteers Host projects, support systems and Country coordinator. Dealing Monitoring, evaluation and Learning of country programs.Doing Capacity development of community/local /development partners. Management of program staff including staff recruitment and development. Supervising, facilitating and supporting field teams of volunteers and staff in maintaining good relationships between schools teachers, children Centres and other related staff.Coordination of procurement including negotiating and managing contracts. Representation roles: Developing potential and strategic partnerships and communication with other stakeholders (local partners; government and donor partners). Ensuring programs and partnerships are consistent with United Planet Tanzania and Boston vision, mission statement and values. Development and submission of country/program/project reports based on donor specifications/regiments.Development and implementation of United Planet fundraising strategy.

Program Support: Working with RHMT (Regional Health Management Team) and DHMT (District Health Management Team) of 5 regions of Tanzania in Implementing VSO-Maternal and Child Health programs (Mtwara, Lindi, Bukoba Zanzibar and Pemba). Work close with ministries of Health both in Zanzibar and Mainland in implementation of “No baby left out” Talk to your child campaigns in Mainland and Mobile Health Clinic project in Wete and Micheweni Pemba. Negotiate partnership agreements, monitor partners contribution towards programs and management of professional volunteer doctors and Health Management Systems works in the Hospitals.Support development of mechanisms to monitor and evaluate programme, placement level impact. Manage relationship with our key stakeholders to fulfill VSO objectives and representing VSO at external meetings especially to the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MoHSW).Leading role to communicate and work close with Ministry of Health especially with RMCH Department.Assist with external fundraising as appropriate and ensuring donor contractual are compiled with and VSO procedures maintained.Program management and supervision of Professional Volunteers and stakeholders training;Manage logistics, administration and finance for the programme workshops, tours, organizational assessments and partner exchange visits.Work with program employees to collate financial and narrative reporting information on program, placements and projects, assisting in preparation and dissemination of learning.Volunteer’s welfare and Management: First point of contact for all volunteers (Professional oversea Doctors) Being pro active to minimize volunteer queries and ensure excellent customer service.Encourage, coordinate and facilitate good communications between VSO and volunteers and actively involve them in VSO activities in the health facilities. Dealing with volunteers emergencies and make a quick reactions upon if any.

Leading alumnae of volunteers for Tanzania programme by engage in Youth policies and programming dialogue on Employability skills, ASRH&R and HIV/AIDS, Education, gender, and community Health systems strengthening. Analyze reputation risks of the organization and building organizational consensus, networking and partnership building;(e.g. working with ministries of Health, Education and Youth in policies implementation)Leading the development of informed and effective policy positions for community participation especially in Livelihood, Education and Policies engagement.Support for development of partnerships for the program and sharing learning and good practice case studies from the national level to international with the alumnae’s team. Responsible for preparation of peer educator’s training in all High Learning Institute in Tanzania

Support volunteers peer educators to Provide and coordinate SRHR programs in schools and out of youth groups including family planning projects, entrepreneurship training and support to community group on specific capacity building needs, Support volunteers and staff team in the planning, implementation and review of peer education program in Higher Learning Institutes. Develop and manage strategic partnerships with local government, civil society, and the private sector to ensure our program is visible, valuable and adds value to sector plans.Ensure systematic sharing of programmes information and results as best practices and developing Quarterly Reports to share with all appropriate partners and stakeholders in the community.Coordinate and disseminate information on AFYA BOMBA Educational program to the target groups and keep tracking of the progress done by the organizations activities.
