At Grand Sunsource AB, I work as a Business Development Manager where I am responsible for identifying new expansion areas for the services offered by the company and pursuing new business opportunities. Main efforts to spur the business especially in the automotive industry encompass the adoption of new markets and new partnerships in order to strengthen the presence in the market and to expand the product categories.Nurturing existing relationships and building new ones from scratch with a variety of clients and suppliers across different countries offer an enriched work environment in which I feel like a part of a bigger team than actual.

At the same time with my studies, I also involved in a number of projects such as entrepreneurship and innovation projects as a team member.

My duties as an expert in the investment support office covered mainly the analysis and the promotion of leading sectors in the region, strategic planning of regional development, and the coordination of wide-range stakeholders. While quite resembling business promotion, it required a participatory approach and detailed planning where all regional actors should be guided towards a shared goal. I worked in close collaboration with leading regional actors to effectively realize the regional goals and actively contributed to the development of regional investment and promotion strategy.At the time, Yalova was under-developed in terms of industrial structure and the coordination between regional stakeholders was relatively weak. In this respect, it was a challenging environment to get sound results. However, our team put efforts relentlessly to stimulate the regional investment potential and to coordinate the agency's responsibilities at the provincial level.

I was accountable for developing and managing investment and R&D projects for SMEs. From scratch, I took part in the projects to lead the phases of planning, conceptual design, budget optimization, and the application for the grants.The nature of the job required the coordination of multi-tasks, close collaboration with SMEs as well as working smart given the strict application deadlines. Moreover, it was of crucial importance to be open to new challenges where every project needed to be customized to specific customer needs and the requirements of the call for grant proposals.During the time I worked as a project management consultant, I achieved the goal of at least three projects each month.
