Severine C. Camus is a self-taught contemporary multi-disciplinary artist working with painting, drawing, writing, poetry, scenographic photography. At the age of six, she immersed herself in drawing, painting, writing, music and nature, then at the age of eleven in the theatre. She enters the Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Bordeaux at sixteen years in parallel to her studies in high school. At seventeen, she ceases all forms of art to follow a classical curriculum. Graduate studies in international trade with a specialisation in the agri-food and then in vine & wine law led her to evolve in the Bordeaux wine world for almost seventeen years. She changes career path and becomes therapist and coach in 2012, before living another life in 2019.Her quest will notably lead her write books in the field of personal growth and reconnect with art. She becomes officially Artist & Author in 2021. After two years of personal work, she decides to face the eye of the public in 2023.Through her artistic approach, she seeks to reveal the complexity and plurality of Human, also the imperfection of art as a reflection of our humanity. She is interested in the place of the Human in his environment, whether it is endogenous or exogenous. She combines the diversity of forms and engages in constant experimentation. Each universe becomes a living revelation for her ideas traveling with eclecticism, in maximalism or minimalism.Proteiform, Severine C.
