In charge of organizing an innovation contest in India : selection, scoping of networks in India, communication...Lafarge Invention Awards is a competition aiming at rewarding innovative projects contributing to sustainable contruction, connecting networks to be more efficient in the implementation of systems giving comfort for users, and in the respect of local communities and practices (CSR)After the first edition in Europe in 2010, Lafarge Invention Awards 2011 has taken place in India and targeted entrepreneurs, engineering consultants, architects, academics and researchers.The project consisted in structuring and coordinating all actions between India BU, Group communication, R&D, Intellectual property department, and consultants located in France and India. The winners (2 architects and 1 entrepreneur) were awarded their prizes in March 2012. This action promotes Lafarge commitment to be closer to the customers and especially to interact with all actors of construction value chain.

Lafarge Audit Group is composed by a team of 30 people from various nationalities and backgrounds. Its role is to assess business and financial risks. In this framework, auditors perform 5-week-assignments in various fields (in particular Health&Safety, Quality, Environment, Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance...) in different entities of Lafarge Group (Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America)

Saint Pierre La Cour plant produces 1,5 million ton of cement per year, and is one of the biggest cement plant in France.The role of the process department is to optimize the production (ie increasing the tonnage, decreasing the energy consumption) while ensuring the final quality of the product. Hence, interactions with production, maintenance and quality departments are crucial.CSR : Proposal of co-generation project, aiming at recovering fatal energy in the fumes to heat the nearby-village.

CSR : Producing this nanocoating allowing less maintenance, more service to customers (you know, the fingerprints on the fridge) and more work for the Belgium steelplant.
