About Severin Hacker

Severin co-founded Duolingo in 2011, to help people learn languages. Severin is the CTO of Duolingo.Severin completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, where he researched large scale human computation. He is also a recipient of the 2014 MIT Technology Review TR35 award. Severin completed his BS in Computer Science at ETH Zurich in 2006.
