Séverin began at Virgin Music where he worked with leading French & international artists. He left to create his own music production company in Paris & New York. By 2002 he was among the first french producers to make music available online for free and to adapt its business strategy to web usages. In 2004, he was appointed as an adviser for cultural industries to the French Minister of Culture & Communication. The issues were complex and numerous, including the financing of cultural industries, copyright in the era of internet. In 2006, he joined the founders of Dailymotion to turn the first community site for video-sharing into a French champion of the web. Dailymotion has helped change web usages and is now one of the top 30 websites in the world.In May 2007, he was appointed Digital Advisor to the French Prime Minister. During four years, he led e-government and e-administration policies and projects for the French government. During this period France entered the era of e- democracy with the first major online public consultations on matters of domestic policy. Séverin advised French President and Prime minister to commit France to a policy of open government & open data. In 2011, PM appointed Séverin to drive this decidedly innovative and ambitious policy. Open Data aims to greatly contribute to the transparency of the State and help support the digital economy.Séverin created Socialyse in 2013, a global pure player dedicated to social media. Socialyse scaled in 40 countries serving more than 2000 clients with 610 collaborators within less than 3 years. Socialyse is now a Havas group company.Convinced Milleniales were to change the world as it is, in 2016 he started WeWork in France and Southern Europe by opening first locations and evangelize the market on coworking.Since 2016, supports strategy, manages numerous projects and invests in the digital economy.
