Led and managed humanitarian procurement operations at the Southwest Border helping award nearly $300M in two years for aerial surveillance, IT, minor construction, services, and commodities.Hosted and organized the first internationally marketed CBP Vendor Outreach Event in Laredo, TX, which attracted 140 people representing 85 small businesses. This event gave vendors an insight on how to do business with DHS, discussed the different SBA contracting programs and provided a network session with numerous CBP program offices.

Established and managed a $73M strategic contracting initiative for Network Contracting Office 17 (San Antonio) to streamline the acquisition of endoscopy equipment, blood products, and Omnicell services for 7 medical centers by building VISN-wide IDIQs and BPAs, which reduced procurement acquisition lead times from 8 months to less than 30 days
