Currently working as a Senior Clinical Research Assistant at Casey Eye Institute. I work with refractive surgery patients (LASIK and PRK), where I follow their post-operation (PO) visits to gather data and collect samples for further analysis (Tears for Proteomics). I currently coordinate, collect, manage and analyze all data for this study location at OHSU. We are looking for PO pain and dryness symptoms and to see if there is a connection between tear proteins and persistent pain and/or dryness.

Worked in Doernbecher's Children Hospital to find Social Determinants of Health, as potential barriers to inpatient population and their families. Performed data collection, management and analysis and performed interviews of patient guardians for qualitative approach. In addition to individual interviews, I also led group/panel interviews of the different clinics within the children's hospital, of our clinical staff to include providers and nurses. This allowed for a more wholistic approach and allowed for integration of suggested ideas as well as implementation and continued progress on interventions I helped implement.
