I worked on the characters for several unannounced projects and led the diverse team of other artists. For a few of these projects I was in charge of the TD / rigging process as well.- 3.5 yrs of full-time remote work as a Principal 3D Artist / Character TD / Generalist at Wizarlabs Inc. (Palo Alto, CA) on iPad game 'Movie Toons'. Here I was responsible for character creation, rigging and skinning, developing modular clothes and buildings systems, 3D pipeline and integration tools development (Python scripting in Maya), various pieces of environment as well. I managed a team of outsource 3D-artists and supervised all stages of 3D-content production.- 4+ yrs of personal freelance path as an individual Character Artist / Rigger. I worked on a bunch of different assets for various projects and studios - 3d characters, clothes and rigs for both in-game usage and cinematics.- 3.5 yrs of full-time on-site work on 'Death To Spies 3' project (later released as Alekhine's Gun) at Haggard Games as Generalist 3D Artist. Here I started my professional career and took part in almost every stage of content production - from indoor assets to characters and skinning / rigging.Skills: - Strong understanding of human body anatomy, shapes, structure and topology from the artistic standpoint along with rigging and animation perspective.- Skills of leading an art team, complete character art production management.- Excellent knowledge of ZBrush for digital sculpting.- Complete mastery of Maya as a weapon of choice and a "hub" application.- Texturing for both real-time applications or offline rendering (Substance / Mari / Photoshop).- Simulating clothes in Marvelous Designer.- Characters skinning and rigging in Maya, great experience in facial rigging.- With computer science education in background - perfect skills to solve various complex problems (in modeling, rigging, data processing and management) via scripting (Python, Mel, JScript).My goals: - Contribute to the development of the best games in the pioneering companies.- Get a chance to work side by side with the top pros in industry and become one of them asap.- Constantly and always improve myself, grow and obtain new skills.- Share my vision, ideas and knowledge inside the companies I'm working with.- Realize myself in the career of a 3d artist.
