I am an Internationally Educated Occupational Therapist (IEOT) with a strong background in mental health, specializing in adult care. I am soon graduating with an MSc degree in Rehabilitation Science from McMaster University, where my thesis focuses on the effects of remote working on women's mental health and psychological well-being.For two years, I served as a teaching assistant in the OT program at McMaster University, gaining extensive experience in facilitating mental health rehabilitation sessions, examining students, and evaluating placements in academic settings, all aimed at enhancing mental well-being and recovery.Currently, I am a Research Assistant at Douglas Mental Health Institute, contributing to a CIHR-funded project on mental health recovery. I am working towards registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Ontario, with the goal of bringing my international expertise to the local healthcare community.
