I have over 19 years of experience as a hydrologist and water resources engineer specializing in a broad range of local and regional water resources planning and management projects, including basin characterization, water supply reliability and vulnerability, Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) implementation, groundwater recharge, conjunctive use, in-lieu recharge, groundwater management and monitoring, integrated surface water and groundwater modeling, water quality assessments, particularly salt and nitrate impacts on groundwater. Prior to consulting, I obtained my PhD degree at UC Davis. My research focused on vadose zone and groundwater hydrology and subsurface flow and transport modeling for assessing impacts to groundwater from agricultural practices and nitrate applications. I have developed and applied numerical groundwater models into local and regional projects in California. I have prepared regulatory compliance documents for groundwater management plans, urban water management plans, salt and nutrient management plans, groundwater monitoring programs, California Statewide Groundwater Elevation Monitoring (CASGEM) Programs, and Drinking Water Source Assessment Programs (DWSAPs).
