Currently, tasked with preparing DNA plasmids expressing the alpha and beta chains of the TCR for Th17 cells, utilizing plasmid minipreps• Employing cutting-edge techniques, such as transfection of Jurkat cells with the engineered TCR, knockout for the endogenous TCR, and expressing NFAT-promoter, to establish a platform for screening TCR for antigen recognition. This work bridges the gap between basic cancer immunology, microbiome research, and public health, with a specific focus on addressing oncological health disparities aimed at understanding the role of Streptococcus sp VT_162 in colorectal cancer health disparities, particularly within the African American male population
