Sexton Ford, originally owned by Bill Sexton, was located in downtown Moline. In the late 1960's Al Pellegrini moved to the Quad-Cities and took over Sexton Ford. In 1971, Al moved the dealership to 3802 16th St., Moline. It was Al Pellegrini's idea to develop the SouthPark area as an auto plaza, with competing new-car dealers doing business next door to each other. Mr. Pellegrini had visions of his sons being part of the dealership, and in 1980, his vision became reality. Randy became the new owner of Sexton Ford, later joined by his brother Gary. Randy's son, Vince is also part of the management team.Sexton Ford stays on top of the car industries changing times. Professionally staffed departments have close to 85 employees combined.
