The main project I was primarily involved with was a big data project which had to store and process dynamic ontologies, in great amounts (over 1 million transactions per minute, and around 1 petabyte of data). I was responsible for the design, development, and documentation of the landscape architecture of related projects using Microservices Architecture, Plugin (Kernel) Architecture, and Spring Cloud modules. I was also responsible for the development, configuration, and documentation of observability and monitoring features for the whole project (all modules) using Logback, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Zipkin, and Spring Cloud Sleuth (now Spring Cloud Distributed Tracing).I also had to review and audit code developed by other team members, and did extensive research on ETL technologies, Big Data, SQL/Distributed SQL/NoSQL/NewSQL Databases, and Event Sourcing Libraries and Frameworks.Lastly, I helped entry-level and junior developers get acquainted with Java and Spring ecosystem, and software engineering subjects, especially software architecture and patterns.I worked with various technologies at Mahsan, but the following are the ones I used on a daily basis:Java (11, 17), Spring Framework (5,6), Spring Boot (2, 3), Spring MVC, Spring Data (JPA, ElasticSearch, Cassandra), Hibernate, Spring Bean Validation, Spring AOP, Spring Cloud Gateway, Spring Cloud Eureka, Spring Cloud Config, Zipkin, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack (Elastic Search, Kibana, and Logstash), Docker, Docker-Compose, Kafka, Spring Kafka, Spring Cloud Stream, Axon Framework, H2, YugabuteDB, Maven, Gitlab, Git, Mahsan's Diode Project, JUnit 5, AssertJ, Spring Boot Test, Cucumber (6, 7), Mockito, JFrog, Netflix OSS, Lombok, OpenFeign, SonarQube, Swagger/Open API 3, MapStruct, and Ubuntu.
