I was covering Iron&steel, Infrastructure and contracting conglomerates, Defence, Utilities, small-mid cap companies together with providing local supports to the regional Oil&Gas and Telco analysts.

I covered iron&steel, aviation and fertiliser sectors as well as took in role some corporate finance projects. In addition, ICM department was supported by long term ideas while domestic clients were also supported through short-term/intraday trade ideas.

Newly created Risk & Corporate Governance unit is supporting listed companies in Istanbul Stock Exchange and preparing themselves to be listed in ISE with Gras Savoye’s customized Risk Management tools which basically include: Physical Risk Survey, Business Continuity Planning, Enterprise Risk Management, Environmental Advises & Site Surveys, Motor-Fleet Training, Insurance & Risk Due Diligence; and Insurance products, including, but not limited to, Directors & Officer liability, Fraud and Dishonesty cover, Trade Credit insurance... etc.

As a chemicals, fertilisers, second tier automotive, automotive components and small & mid cap companies analyst; I have successfully published seven companies’ initiation coverage reports, one sector report, and three thematic reports during the six months periods. In addition, I have prepared algorithmic trading models, full hedged and partial hedged automated trading systems.

I was in charge of covering Insurance and Utilities sectors as well as small-mid cap companies. Also, I was solely responsible for issuing all the Turkish reports for the domestic clients which have more than 50% of total trading volume of Ata Invest. Moreover, I also took in role periodical reports and automatization/restructuring of research products.

Responsible for covering automotive, durables, fuel distribution, cement, insurance sectors. I also involved re-organisation of the department and within this context, I conducted, automatization and restructuring of research products, publishing and designing of research products. On the corporate finance side; I have taken roles in various IPOs, SPOs, Rabobank-Sekerbank due diligence process and pre-privatization advisory tender for Turkish Sugar factories.

Following the takeover of the company from Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF), I took role in all infrastructural and strategically activities for building the appropriate system for research and strategy department during restructuring process. Accordingly, I actively involved in automatization and restructuring of research products, publishing and designing of periodical research products, covering; conglomerates, banks, energy, petroleum and petrochemicals, automotive, media industry analysis. Moreover, as we are strategy department; we developed various analysis tools and systems to analyse market, prepared short & long-term recommendations for our clients and also we managed company’s portfolio in line with our recommendations.I gave a course of lectures regarding Technical Analysis and Mechanical Trading Sistems, also prepared many algorithmic trading strategies.
