My first work experience was in a global company Japan Tobacco International as a supervisor. In my job description, I was responsible for directing our hostess to promote the products in 7 different cities (Adana, Mersin, Hatay, Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, Nevşehir, Diyarbakır) in Turkey. This job required a lot of physical energy and social communication skills. I worked in this job for three and a half years. I am still in contact with my Horeca Tolga Ateş as a friend. I left this job for other job opportunities where I had time to improve myself and save money for the job I dreamed of. During this transition period, I worked as a sales manager at Citroen for 5 months. After these business experiences, I moved to Ayvalık, a touristic region of Turkey, to open my restaurant. I worked both as a chef and as the manager of my business which was named Sofia Ayvalık. In my restaurant, I enjoyed the preparation, cooking, and presentation of cold and hot appetizers and main courses. There were 30 kinds of cold appetizers, 10 kinds of hot appetizers, and 5 main courses on Sofia Ayvalık's menu. I was organizing the appetizers and main courses according to seasonal and local products. My restaurant had a capacity of 10 tables and 60 customers. Even in the summer season when the restaurant is at its peak, we worked alone with my wife and it was satisfying.
