 Development of programme of works in collaboration with the representative, proactively developing new initiatives Carrying out research into legislation and projects, gaining an in-depth understanding of many issues of public policy and law Providing direct support during meetings with officials, constituents, and a wide range of stakeholders Coordinating Dáil business, organising speakers and ensuring presence for voting etc. Responding to enquiries from constituents, representing the Chief Whip and ensuring a consistency of tone and professionalism in all external communications Writing briefing documents, press releases, correspondence, newsletters and community notices, skilled at articulate written communication Coordinating attendance at events and advice clinics, solving a variety of ad hoc problems, gaining exposure to areas such as family law
