Experienced Senior Lecturer with a successful record of publication and teaching in Higher Education. My focus is on active learning, laboratory based teaching, interdisciplinarity and encouraging students to think outside of narrow silos. Curiosity is curiosity, beautiful and enriching in all its forms; if you're laughing, you're learning. I have over 30 years experience in lecturing, public speaking, laboratory teaching, small group presentations, group facilitation, and general higher education teaching. I Graduated with a Ph.D from University College Dublin and St Vincent's Hospital Elm Park with further postgraduate qualifications in education from Queens University Belfast. I have been elected as a Fellow of the Physiological Society and am a Senior Fellow of Advance HE.
