In the role of Design and Commissioning Engineer I am part of a three-person team responsible for the electrical design of Rubber Tire Gantry (RTG) Cranes from the initial concept stage. This responsibility also involves software development, materials specification and approval, factory testing, customer liaison and product research and development. The.

With UK Power Networks I completing a 12 month role as a graduate engineer before moving into a design engineer role with the Engineering Standards team. The graduate scheme was divided into 4, 3 month placements, Induction, Network Operations, Asset Management and Design Build Connect. On the induction phase I have completed development courses such as.

• I worked as part of Douglas’s engineering team, aiding senior engineers on major projects. I was also given the responsibility of taking charge of smaller projects. Day to day duties included,
• Project Validation in accordance with FDA guidelines and GAMP 4/5 procedures.
• System Control & Automation using Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Project Planning, hardware pricing and equipment ordering.
• Testing and commissioning of new equipment and automated processes.
• WinCC and Wonderware SCADA design and implementation.
