About Stefanie M. Falconi, Ph.D.

For the last 19 years I've worked on climate change in frontier and emerging markets; work that has taken me to four continents. More recently, I narrowed my scope working at the intersection of Climate and Tech. I'm an academic by training and an entrepreneur at heart with a strong bias towards action. If I had to characterize the thorough line in my career: I love working in the trenches. It’s where the most exciting developments are happening.I've taught courses to executives and tech entrepreneurs, foreign affairs and development professionals, as well as provided consulting on climate strategies for private and public institutions internationally. More recently I joined USAID to work on AI and emerging technologies for advancing the Sustainable Development Goals. I bring to my work the depth of an academic + the agility of an entrepreneur. Speaker engagement: I have experience presenting in the U.S. and abroad to diverse audiences. Invited speaker to the Department of State, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Institute for Water Resources, Brooking Institute, and World Resources Institute, as well as, over a dozen institutions in Brazil and abroad. I've delivered talks in three languages (EN, SP, PT). I love speaking at Universities and people amidst for a career transition.Goes without saying but ... this is my personal account and I speak in a personal capacity = personal opinions ≠ official endorsements
