Acting as the Interim Executive Director of the BC Libraries Cooperative from September 2024 to September 2025.

-Manage a multi-million-dollar budget including capital, operating, and third-party lines.-Supervise and manage both union and non-unionized staff -Assume the role and responsibilities of Library Director in her absence.-As Privacy Officer for the Library work on a variety of projects related to security and privacy including: creating a data bank for personal information, creating and offering staff training, completing personal information assessments, responding to Freedom of Information requests.-Co-led a structural review of the library’s staffing that addressed a staffing budget shortfall, increasing diversity of staff tasks, allowing librarians to have more time for community connections, and reducing injuries of circulation staff.-Planned the development of a recording studio including space, equipment, and staffing needs.-Led the research and proposal and implementation of the library fines free program.-Led library technology replacement and management projects, including contract negotiations and review, contractor coordination, and implementation of tasks within expected timelines.-Collect and report on the library’s operating statistics to the West Vancouver Memorial Library Board, exempt library staff and the Libraries Branch of the BC Government.-Addressed operating statistics reporting gap through workflow change, moving from an electronic form to a tick-based paper system.-Lead Library Board Meetings and workshops.-Lead Database Stakeholders and Ebook Stakeholders Group in evaluating, adding, and removing electronic subscriptions, as well as initiatives to support and increase use.

-Transitioned library services from fully in person to fully remote work in 2020 through the use of new technologies - including phones, chat, programming, and statistics.-Wrote a grant and coordinated granting partnership for North Shore Libraries and Telus of 400 devices and 200 data lines.-Transitioned digital experience staff back to hybrid and in-person service.-Co-led implementing a new library message delivery system to improve communication with patrons.-Led library intranet upgrade including content updates and migration.-Migrated library authentication off of SIP2 and onto EZproxy.-Replaced software for library meeting rooms.-Led project to lend out laptops and wireless hotspots to the community.-Hire and train librarians, library coordinators, and public service assistants and manage unionised staff.-Lead library’s digital strategy through partnerships with other departments, including adults and youth, overseeing public programs, implementing a teen volunteer program, implementing new library technologies, circulating technology kits, and the library’s digitised historical content collection.-Liaised with municipal departments, primarily Information Technology Services, this included leading regular meetings, coordinating budgeted projects, following up on service tickets to ensure service levels were maintained.Oversee and coordinate the work of the staff who are responsible for all library systems and discovery services, including the ILS, public computing and digital learning.
