Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) in the north of Scotland. I was part of large team of designers and engineers who were tasked with the design and manufacture of a highly complex decommissioning project.My main roles included designing and modelling (2D & 3D) components and assemblies, working to P&ID’s, creating mechanical, electrical and pipe work plans. I was also responsible for the initial setup and the maintaining of Autodesk Vault for the project team.

Working in a 2 man team for CH2M Hill Basingstoke’s 3D modelling team and aided in the design of 2 AWE (Atomic Weapons Establishment) projects.I was personally responsible for modelling and producing manufacturing drawings for individual component parts, implementing our new design to the existing system, attending design review meetings and visiting manufacturers who are responsible for the manufacture of our components.
