I am a honorably discharged Army combat veteran, and a graduate of the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University. In my time at WMU, I received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Accountancy and minoring in general business. I am interested in pursuing a career where I can be an effective member of an organization and utilize my knowledge and expertise to bring value to any business.My career journey has led me through a variety of different aspects and specializations. In my time with the CCTA, I gained experience in accounts payable, procurement, government contacting, budgeting & analysis, and payroll review. While I was with KRESA, I learned about the accounts receivable process, benefits management, and general payroll and bookkeeping procedures. In my role with Charles River, I broadened my skills, as I now have practiced experience creating journal entries, performing account reconciliations & expense analysis, and collaborating with international departments to improve efficiencies.In addition, I’ve gained a considerable amount of leadership, problem solving, and critical thinking skills through my experience in the United States Army. Through my multiple tours overseas, I have led many teams tasked with completing projects under tight deadlines and in high stress environments.
