The way we enable and support the workforce has to change and I intend to be at the heart of that change - a user-centric approach with personalised, easy to access/use services, with great availability and a focus on returning the user to productivity. It's time to stop overlooking user engagement and support in Digital Transformation Programmes, taking the workforce on the journey is one of the best ways to make sure you improve engagement with your customers. I work with clients to help them understand how important this journey is and how we in Kyndryl can help them. Part of this conversation is often about the journey Kyndryl has been on since we became a separate company and how this has been a part of the cultural change and the new look and feel we have. My focus has shifted from the things that are now commonplace to the things that excite me like the promise of revolutionary change from cognitive, analytics, and robotic/dynamic process automation. The new (Digital) Workplace has to support a highly mobile, IT literate workforce; new tools, rapid change, the need for disruption from within, and completely different working practices and patterns.
