Robert Foresman (my Dad) started Forespar Products Corporation forty-five years ago because he wanted a telescoping whisker pole. I was the "first employee" as a kid, and I grew up in the business. Hundreds of products and years later, Forespar has become a large and diversified supplier of sailing and boating products to the world market.Our factory team, with the support of representatives, distributors, retailers and riggers have made our products standard equipment on the world's best boats, and widely available to boaters everywhere. Our California manufacturing facility houses a complete machine shop, plastic injection molding section, composite spar shop, aluminum spar shop with a 70' paint booth, shipping & receiving and several assembly departments.Forespar's engineering department uses state-of-the-art computer systems utilizing Computer Aided Design, Finite Element Analysis and other custom design programs. Our Marelon TM plumbing system components are an example of our use of new materials in designs that eliminate corrosion and electrolysis and continue to grow in use by fine yacht builders around the world.Our motto has always been to build "Products That Perform" – which will make boating easier, safer, faster and a lot more fun.
