To say I grew up with a passion for Software Engineering wouldn't be right. I do have a passion for Software Engineering, but I grew up with a passion to build, invent, be creative, and to share things with friends and family that I thought they would enjoy. Software Engineering is the perfect place for this. I get to create any tool I set my mind on, deploy code that provides value to the community, and exercise efficiency with people who are also looking to do the same thing.Working on teams in college I would have to say that has been my favorite part of learning at Arizona State University. Bouncing ideas back and forth, ending up with a product that is better than any of us could have done alone. Then comparing our end-product with the work of another team and seeing how differently things can be done. Those team efforts taught me something I had never before considered.. the importance of organization. Of course, I’ve always wanted my code to be understandable, but organization is something else. A working product is important, but when you can do a code-walkthrough of a large, multi-packaged, multi-classed project without missing a beat on the step by step process,AND your coworkers don’t have a hard time following.. pride.I have hobbies otherwise, I have a wonderful family whom I love with all of my heart, I maintain a healthy life.. but software development has also become a part of who I am.
