I am the subject liaison and selector for the Department of Biology at the University of Washington, Seattle campus. I purchase books and journals in biology and related fields and provide research consultation and instruction services to students and faculty working in the biological sciences. I provide general information and reference services to the UW community and public, and coordinate and organize various events within the library.

Worked with scientists and staff at the NOAA Western Regional Center in Seattle, WA to create an internal digital library of literature and publications important to the work of chemical spill remediation. Documents added to the library included journal articles, books, conference proceedings, white papers, government documents, and reports. For security reasons, EndNote was the software selected for use in creating the index.

I work on a freelance basis as a writer and columnist for WoW Insider, a website owned by AOL. I write guides and editorials on Blizzard video games, primarily World of Warcraft, as well as help manage comment sections and reader discussions, and occasionally work on podcasts and other web broadcasts with members of our writing team.

I aided the Vertebrate Paleontology collections manager in cataloging, classifying, identifying, and managing the specimens housed at the Sam Noble Museum. We worked with researchers from other universities and museums around the world to aid in their research and maintained up-to-date information on all the vertebrate paleontological specimens housed in the Sam Noble collections.

I wrote and administered appropriate lesson plans, assignments, and exams for laboratories to supplement lecture material. When needed, I wrote additional subject guides tailored specifically for the purposes of the course being taught.As a Graduate Teaching Assistant I taught laboratories for Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, and Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy courses. In my last semester teaching Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy I aided the lecturer in redesigning the course as a result of a departmental change in objective.

At FCA I aided investigators and expert witnesses in summarizing, formatting, and maintaining case data for use during investigations and court testimony. My specific tasks included archiving and maintaining written descriptions of photographs and court depositions.

I managed physical evidence and the evidence database for use in investigations and court testimony, including categorizing, storing, and retrieving items as needed by the research and investigative teams..
