In partnership with the client operations, I managed the customer facing migration program on to the new core processing system for multiple large employer group’s health care insurance products & services. The migration success of 400 groups required managing multiple internal vertical business units to collaborate on a regulatory compliant, non-disruptive implementation process. Applying sound project management life cycle (PMLC) principles I drove key work streams to improve the migration project methodology, quality, risk strategies, success metrics and executive reporting. In my technical capacity I managed the organization and remediation of the client’s health data interfaces, membership eligibility, financial, and performance reporting databases with with internal, customer and third party stakeholders. Directed the effort to capture complex unstructured data from multiple sources and summarized it into business context for use by the migration teams. The scope included coordinating detailed plans developed in concert with the customer, third party vendors, and trading partners to ensure continuity of their operations.
