As a Communications Event Coordinator at the Georgia Chiropractic Association (GCA), I am responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events and programs for the chiropractic community in Georgia. I work with a team of professionals to create and deliver engaging and informative content, materials, and media for our events, as well as to promote and market them to our target audiences. I also coordinate with external partners, sponsors, and vendors to ensure the success and quality of our events.I graduated from Georgia State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (a combined concentration of public relations and music marketing/ artist management) and a minor in Spanish. During my studies, I gained valuable experience and skills in communication, public relations, journalism, and media. I was involved in several organizations and projects, such as Album 88, the Undergraduate Student Advisory Board of the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship Program. I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Mexico for a week, thanks to the EIF Scholarship. My goal is to pursue a career in public relations, social media, event planning with a hint of public health policy where I can combine my passion, creativity, and knowledge to produce compelling and impactful stories.
