Encargado de representar al área Social de la CChC en los capítulos de Atacama, Coquimbo, Valparaíso y O'Higgins. Articulación con equipos regionales, dirigentes sindicales, entidades sociales de la CChC con el fin de promover beneficios en salud, atención social, formación y cultura a los trabajadores y sus familias de la macrozona central del país.

A cargo de desarrollar e impulsar la agenda del sector en intermediación laboral como también de atracción y vinculación formativa al sector, coordinando diversas iniciativas público-privadas a nivel nacional y regional. Responsable del proyecto www.trabajosenobra.cl en alianza a la Bolsa Nacional de Empleo, como también de diversos estudios orientados a tener un sistema de información laboral del sector construcción.

I am responsible of the management and administration of this public-private partnership , taking the strategic, technical, administrative, and financial control of the project. In addition, I lead and coordinate the work with the main partners of the initiative (SENCE-CChC-OTIC CCC) and promote potential public-private alliances aiming to maximize the impact of the program at the national scale.

As a Teaching assistant, I am member of the post graduate program “Community relations and socio-environmental conflict prevention”, and “Mediation in socio environmental conflict”. The programs provide insights and tools on how to involve companies, public services, the state and local governments with disadvantaged communities in the context of socio-environmental conflict, and how to lead mediation process in social environmental controversies.

Given my experience in the social development sector, I advised the social and commercial implementation of several social project in Chile including Fundación Nacional para la Superación de la Pobreza, Tenemos que Hablar de Chile (PUC & U. de Chile), Corporación Plan Octay, among others.

With my long experience in the NGO, I contributed to adapt the experience of the programme in South America to the African context. When I arrived to Kenya, my first tasks were to perform a social diagnosis, to design the program, to hire a team for the NGO, and to select the communities where we were to work. In my role as a Social Coordinator I followed the development of the program both in Mathare and Kibera (informal settlements), which include leading community activities, with 350 children weekly, and managing our relationship with the schools.

As a Research Associate, I contributed with a study which characterized institutional philanthropy in Chile led by CEFIS, as part of a collaboration agreement with the Hauser Institute for Civil Society from Harvard Kennedy School.

As Executive Director, I had the responsibility to start up Fútbol Más in a foreign country. It was the first time the NGO branched out internationally. Once Fútbol Más got funds from UNICEF it started to work within 4 informal settlements in Guayaquil with more than 400 children. As Executive Director, I was responsible for managing the relationship with our sponsors, such as UNICEF and other big companies from Ecuador, as well as the legal and administrative issues which I had to be aware of all the time.

In Santiago, I was the Social Coordinator of the program where I had to manage a team of 24 professionals who were implementing Fútbol Más in 12 communities with around 1 thousand children within Santiago. I had to lead the professional team and also manage our relationship with the community coordination team, pertaining to these 12 neighbourhoods. To do that, I had to visit each community weekly, I had to have permanent meetings with the professionals in the Fútbol Más office and I had to do several team trainings during the year

During this period, I led the social impact evaluation of Fútbol Más in alliance with UNICEF. The NGO had been working for almost 4 years and its methodology had been very successful in the communities. Nonetheless, it was necessary to do a review and research to clarify the main objective, action lines and measurement tools to know more about the social impact of the programme. This research was the beginning of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department of the NGO, which is in charge of measuring the social impact in more than 80 communities in 8 countries.

My responsibility was implementing the Fútbol Más methodology in a community within Iquique, called Dunas I. I had to lead the sport for development sessions weekly, with more than 100 children, as well as the community coordination team, with several community leaders from Dunas I. In addition, I had to create networks within the neighbourhood in order to achieve a strong social intervention.

I was responsible for the design and implementation of life skills workshops targeting children, youth and older adults in rural communities in the Maule, Coquimbo and Antofagasta regions.
