I am currently working as Postdoctoral Research Associate.As an Embedded Software Engineer Intern at Appareo Systems, I worked with TCU embedded software project.I graduated with a PhD in Agricultural Engineering from North Dakota State University, where I spearheaded the development and integration of a computer vision and AI pipeline project for a chemical robotic weed control platform. I achieved outstanding accuracy rates for weed recognition by building and optimizing convolutional neural network models using state-of-the-art architectures, such as VGG16, ResNet50, Xception, and YOLO-v4. I also streamlined the meat processing industry by developing an Android and IOS app using React Native and Python to identify and classify beef cuts. I have published multiple papers in prestigious journals, such as Frontiers in Sensors and Journal of Agriculture and Food, showcasing my research contributions and impact.I am passionate about solving real-world problems using machine learning and engineering techniques, and I am always eager to learn new skills and tools. I have a strong background in big data, cloud computing, and Java, which I gained from my previous experience as a Software Engineer at Deerwalk Inc. I developed core features for the company's main product, "Plan Analytics," using Hadoop and Elasticsearch, and processed large volumes of data on Amazon EMR and EC2 clusters. I also built a builder and listener for creating Elasticsearch queries in Grail's framework using Java, streamlining the search process and improving query efficiency.
