I'm Sam, a recent Penn State graduate in Applied Data Science, with a minor in Philosophy. My expertise is in model training, AI fairness, and data manipulation using several languages such as R, Python, Java, and SQL. My philosophical studies focused on Ethics, Epistemology, and Phenomenology with the goal of using this knowledge to enhance and better shape my understanding of Data Science.I have over one year of experience working in the Penn State PSOD lab as a Research Assistant doing data sourcing, wrangling, integration, and some machine learning modeling. Recently, I also earned my AWS Machine Learning Specialist certification and I continue to work to gain more proficiency with commonly used services like those in AWS.I am seeking a full-time position where I can utilize my skills in Data Science and my knowledge of Philosophy to do work that helps improve the lives of others.
