Data Scientist with ten years experience working with large enterprise customers – designing, creating, and deploying AI/ML solutions to solve business needs. Main focus recently has been on manufacturing use cases but also have experience in finance, marketing, health care, etc... using tabular, textual, time series, and image training sets. Particular expertise in text mining and time series signal feature engineering using FFTs. Primary skill set is in building RapidMiner workflows, REST API queries, regex parsing, AWS AI/ML (Rekognition, SageMaker) as well as EC2, S3, etc... Secondary skills in SQL (mostly PostgreSQL but also MSSQL), basic Python, linux bash shell scripts, Azure, and GCP. Have used many different BI tools (Grafana, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik) as needed with customers, Git, Jira/Confluence, and agile development. Academic background is B.S. Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a M.A. in mathematics education. My unique value add for organizations is that I am a superb teacher.
