I'm a manager for a family owned and operated Brick & Mortar store with 2 years of experience in customer service. I enjoy working directly with customers as well as dealing with the numbers in running a business. In my current position I deal with accounting for cash at the beginning and end of the day as well as dealing one on one with customers throughout the day and making sure I can help with any problems if they may arise. Until recently, I was an Office Staff at Publix for a little over 2 years. In this position my main focus was the customers and helping them in any way I could. I dealt mostly with checkout and returns. I had also been trained to open and close the office safe and account for all registers in the store. This would have to be were I cultivated my passion for accounting. I am truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with my customers as well as other local businesses. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I would have to say that my favorite part is dealing with numbers and math behind the entire operation. Accounting the inflows and outflows of cash fascinate me. Most of the time I end up working alone but find that when collaborating with a team on a project I'm truly at my best. I have an Associates Degree from the State College of Florida and am currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at the University of South Florida.
