• Preparing divisional monthly, quarterly and annual profit and loss and balance sheet reports• Collecting and analyzing commodity production data to produce weekly and monthly reports to support trading decisions• Assisting Group Consolidation Finance Controllers with the preparation of monthly and year-end consolidated accounts • Reviewing financial records for accuracy and to ensure accounting standards and group policies are being adhered to• Assisting with the preparation of the departmental budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting of variances• Setting up of processes and controls of the middle office function, continuous review and enhancement of such controls and processes and implementation of changes when considered necessary• Provide day to day business support and problem solving by coordinating with various departments (Accounting, Credit Risk, Finance, Operations, IT etc.) as issues arose• Daily engagement with traders to prepare and provide analysis/details on the Profit and Loss results, credit terms provided to customers, market structure and hedging, and other ad hoc requests• Collaboration in workshops as subject matter expert for new trading system development / implementation

• Coordinating and supervising the team’s preparation of the monthly trading profit and loss results and positions by profit centers for the Zinc Copper Department• Reviewing booked accruals, M2M accruals, gross profit and any other related cost related to the departmental performance• Reviewing the working capital and preparing various analysis• Co-ordinating the timing of closing activities to ensure deadlines are achieved• Aiding and supporting other regional offices on accounting issues and preparations of monthly results• Participation in SAP implementation globally within the marketing division
