Leading the Global Delivery function I was responsble for the delivery of all programmes and projects for Ace Overseas General (AOG) across the globe. AOG is the international division of Ace Group and covers over 50 countries worldwide.My role managed the end to end project lifecycle covering project management, business analysis, application build and testing. Utilising partners in the build and test phases the objective was to deliver effective business value enhancing systems capable of being deployed across the globe.

Managing delivery and project management of all IT products and services including the design, integration, build, test and deployment activities.

Responsible for all Application Development undertaken by GRCB Technology for Commercial Bank and Wealth via the direction and management of a large team comprising internal and suppliers resources. The solutions developed must support and meet the overall needs of the business are met and are compliant, extendable, robust and cost effective.

Created and managed this unique application development group within Barclays which aimed to provide technology to validate new and innovative business ideas. Its remit is to build and deploy IT solutions rapidly which enable business strategies, hypotheses and opportunities to be explored and tested. The objective is to demonstrate that an idea has business benefit and therefore will contribute to the production of a robust business case. The activities of the team have been recognised externally by a number of Industry awards including Information Age's “Most Effective Use of IT in Retail Financial Service Award” in 2005 and “Most Effective use of Information” in 2006.
