I was fortunate to learn from my father who had a great career in sales and eventually owned his own roofing business. He was an ambitious salesman and truly enjoyed everyone he met, easily making them feel like they were part of his family. I remember spending my days off from school and on weekends with my dad and visiting customers, I was maybe 10 years old. One of my favorite memories was hearing from the customers how they felt about my dad and his strong work ethics. These lessons have served me well as years later I started a successful career in sales, developing solid customer relationships and building strong collaborative teams with the drive of growing business and exceeding sales targets.Today, I’m as excited as ever to sell and teach others how to effectively sell by developing meaningful customer relationships, addressing complex issues and understanding the challenges in a crowded industry when there are several options to consider. Accountability, and consistency are key to growing long lasting customers. Helping people grow, building a rapport and trust with customers, direct reports and co-workers as well as setting clear metrics, defining and delivering the strategy along with motivating people is key to success.Accomplishments:✅ As Director of Specification Sales at Lutron Electronics I developed and launched the New York direct sales team. It involved managing the sales team, sales support and our technical service resources, growing this territory to the largest globally and consistently growing sales at minimum of 20%.✅ At Sora I developed a successful e-commerce sales strategy, sales increased by 30%.✅ While at USAI and Soraa I focused on New Business Development. During the pandemic I identified the High-End Residential channel whose sales were at record levels. As a reliable and dependable partner for this channel with manufacturers of high-quality and deliverable goods we achieved record sales.✅ I have a proven track record of delivering and exceeding aggressive sales targets, both as an individual contributor and as a sales leader, across all organizations.✅ While at Lutron Electronics and Ketra I successfully developed and mentored many high value employees to help establish their career progression that has guided them into their roles of increased responsibilities.
