Contributing to the Advanced Design and Product Solutions team on the front line of R&D for a global technology and gaming corporation. In support of their new product pipeline, I am part of the entire design process: from initial research to final design intent.-Researching design trends, user-needs, latest technologies, and the competitive landscape to provide valuable recommendations on creative and innovative product solutions. -Coordinating with product management and thoroughly assessing product requirement documents to develop relevant and inspiring design solutions. -Responsible for communicating visually in 2D, 3D and VR. - SketchBook Pro, Adobe Suite, SolidWorks, MODO, Unity. -CAD design and 3D product model development using SolidWorks - including top down design, advanced surfacing, solid modeling, and implementation of best practices on an enterprise level.-Rapid Prototyping, model-making and other efficient methods for demonstrating product component attributes and developing around ergonomics and anthropometrics. Managing and maintaining 3D (FDM and SLA) printers.-Collaborate on developing simple electrical circuits, LED boards, light diffusers and light pipe designs. Testing, researching and experimenting with latest lighting technologies (LED, OLED, Laser, Fiber Optics). -Create and develop custom scenes, materials and environments for rendering high-quality visualizations and photo-real 3D renderings using MODO. Provide high resolution images for marketing material, presentations and design documentation. -Work with 3D models, textures, materials, shaders, and sounds to build cohesive and immersive environments in Virtual Reality utilizing an efficient work flow from MODO to Unity to SteamVR. Create, test and modify simple codes and scripts to run HTC Vive in a custom built “Future Casino” environment.

Participated in New Product Development and Manufacturing Design for a new window line. Responsible for creating the digital models of window profiles, parts and assemblies using SolidWorks. Collaborated with product development teams to ensure manufacturing is up to specification, tolerances and safety standards. - Drafted CAD data files for 95% of the new Double Hung window including the design control drawings for fiberglass pultrusion and ABS extrusion processes. - Used global equations and set up multiple configurations to quickly manipulate variable models. - Assisted with tolerance analysis to provide precision between moving parts. - Designed with strict performance requirements and AAMA certification standards. - Selected appropriate materials and rapid prototyping processes to source initial models. Assembled and tested various parts and iteratively advanced the project to better meet design specifications.

Visualized new product concepts and developed applicable design solutions that meet the functional requirements for custom, high-end furniture. - Collaborated with the CEO to gain a stronger aesthetic sensitivity for visual design and attention to detail.- Generated inventive ideas expressed through 2D sketching using latest digital technologies.- Developed representative 3D design solutions using SolidWorks and supplied all design control drawings for manufacturing.- Participated in monthly webinar sessions to master advanced rendering techniques using KeyShot software.

Developed professional design skills through the entire product development life cycle.
