I’m a junior at the University of San Diego majoring in Finance and competing as a Division I rower on the varsity team. Rowing has been a defining part of my life since high school, teaching me how to balance individual effort with team success. It’s a sport that demands precision, discipline, and trust—qualities I’ve carried into other areas of my life. These experiences have shaped my ability to work hard, perform under pressure, and continuously strive to improve myself while supporting those around me.In finance, I’ve discovered a field that allows me to apply my analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and passion for solving complex problems. I’m particularly drawn to understanding how financial analysis and strategies drive decision-making and create value within organizations. Through my coursework and experiences, I’ve developed a strong foundation in data analysis, critical thinking, and balancing immediate priorities with long-term goals.I’m seeking a summer internship in corporate finance or financial services where I can bring my adaptability, problem-solving skills, and analytical mindset to contribute meaningfully. I’m excited to join a dynamic organization where I can learn from experienced professionals, tackle real-world challenges, and build the skills needed to launch my career. What sets me apart is the mindset of a high-performance rowing athlete: discipline, resilience, and a drive to excel. Whether on the water or in a professional setting, I understand the importance of focus, preparation, and execution. I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned so far to real-world challenges and grow as a finance professional.
