Provide team support as SME (subject matter expert) for accounting processes, specifically global template development and cost accounting. Attend design workshops, review business requirements, interface between technical support (on and off-shore) and the business, evaluate test scenarios and provide business implementation support.

Provide oversight and guidance to professional staff. Department emphasis is on cost identification, control and appropriate allocation of costs. Direct monthly general ledger closing duties and monthly/quarterly management reporting. Develop excel models and templates to reduce manual tracking and increase department efficiency

Provide guidance and feedback to staff of four accountants, directing monthly general ledger closing duties and monthly/quarterly management reporting. Department emphasis is the identification of trends and variances in sales and margin. Developed and implemented a summary level sales and margin analysis tool. Developed excel models for proforma income.

Reported directly to the Controller; responsibilities include the preparation of the North American Parts Sales forecast and coordination of internal control programs, including on-site distribution center audits. Identify and implement operational improvements to internal processes, financial reporting and analysis. Identify and implement internal control.

Monitor a computerized purchase order system, maintaining min/max reorder points for inventory system requirements. Review production and expedite material. Work with Material Handling and Production to communicate issues and coordinate improvements with suppliers.

Responsibilities included variance and inventory relief analysis, margin analysis reporting, month-end reporting and physical inventory coordination and reconciliation. Lead diverse, cross functional teams to perform build station audits, interim counts, physical inventory counts and reconciliations. Prepare daily and monthly reporting for management.

Complete consolidation of PACCAR entities’ financial statements using Hyperion software. Compile government and statutory reports. Prepare monthly reports for Senior Management. Worldwide capital budget reconciliation.
