Dr. Sarah Girrell Paquette is a 2009 alumna of New York Chiropractic College. A native Vermonter, Dr. Sarah has advanced training in sports medicine and rehab, ROCK Taping, women’s health, pregnancy and pediatric care, and soft tissue therapies. A former competitive athlete and current martial artist, Dr. Sarah enjoys photography, art and writing as well as hiking, travel, and pretending she has time for any of these hobbies while chasing after her two children. Currently serving on the Executive Board of the Vermont Chiropractic Association, Dr. Sarah has given talks and trainings in association with the Vermont Farm Health Task Force, and on her own to groups of athletes, medical providers, agricultural workers, and Corrections Officers on occupational injury prevention, and has been passionate about working with Veterans since performing rotations through an outpatient VA clinic in 2009. The first chiropractor in the state of Vermont to join the Patriot Project, Dr. Sarah is avid about following current research regarding neurology, Veterans’ health, issues which complicate care, and the role that chiropractic and other CAM therapies can play in treatment. “One of the highlights of my work as a clinician is sharing knowledge among different patient populations. Health is more than physical, it’s about a deeper understanding of ourselves and the ways we can remove the barriers holding us back from reaching our goals.”
