Serim Research develops, manufactures, and markets test strips based on our dry reagent technology. Technologies designed / developed at our facility includes colorimetric chemistries, reagent / membrane impregnation, and test strip fabrication. Our facility is FDA-registered and certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016. Serim Test Strips are used for:• Detection of home-made and military-grade explosives• Monitoring water quality and cleaning effectiveness of instrument washers using enzymatic detergents• Testing for presence of disinfectants and water quality in dialysis centers• Testing to ensure high-level disinfectants, reused in freestanding and hospital-based surgical units, remain at the effective concentration• Presumptive identification of H.pylori infection in gastric biopsies• Monitoring sanitizers / disinfectants used in food & beverage, agriculture and hospitality industriesResearch & Development responsibilities include:• Perform pure and applied research into colorimetric chemistries, which are used to design, develop, and test for specific target analytes• Author and submit 510(k) documentation to the FDA for test strip / chemical indicator FDA clearance• Lead multi-departmental teams as Project Manager, ensuring all design documentation is adhered to and complete• Train R&D and QA personnel on laboratory and production equipment, protocols, and specifications• Perform process optimization, verification, validation, and scale-up activities for projects• Adhere to cGMP and cGLP guidelines, assuring product specifications and quality guidelines are met• Write and establish laboratory, quality assurance, and production protocols and specifications • Interface with clients to ensure product design results meet established requirements • Provide scientific and technical support to project teams and departments• Certified Internal Auditor: FDA QSR, ISO 9001:2015, 13485:2016• Attend industry meetings, trade shows and conferences

Founded in 2013, MakerJuice Labs, LLC designs, develops, and manufactures UV-Curable 3D Stereolithographic resins for 3D printers, focusing on providing the best quality, lowest priced resins for 3D printing hobbyists and professionals. Resins produced at the facility are compatible with a wide range of printers, including the Formlabs Form2/1+, B9Creator, Anycubic Photon, Kudo3D Titan, LittleRP, among other printers. Research and Development duties at MakerJuice Labs include:• Design and develop UV-Curable 3D Stereolithographic resins compatible with a wide range of 3D resin printers• Lead development on upcoming resin lines, such as the WaxCast investment casting resin for jewelry and dental applications• Collaboration with numerous raw material suppliers and outside contractors, evaluating new raw materials for inclusion in formulated resins• Author and establish laboratory, quality assurance, and production protocols and specifications• Interface with customers to ensure product design results meet established requirements• Attend industry meetings, trade shows and conferences• Ship customer product in a timely manner

Sauder Woodworking Co. is North America’s leading producer of ready to assemble furniture and the nation’s fifth largest residential furniture manufacturer. I have 14-years experience in product design and development at Sauder, heavily focused on UV and EB curable chemistry. Research and Development duties included: • Formulating 100% solids UV and EB curable coatings, saturants, fillers, and adhesives for paper and wood substrates, one of which is still used 15-years after its initial commercialization (EverSheen Topcoat)• Extensive experience with spray coating, roll coating, and paper saturation technology• Collaboration with over four-dozen raw material suppliers in developing UV and EB curable products, maximizing the performance of existing formulations and developing new and unique formulations• Performed daily laboratory investigations into UV and EB coating properties, utilizing viscosity, surface tension, tensile testing, FT-IR, and ASTM methods to optimize coating, saturant, filler, and adhesive properties• Worked with production personnel during evaluation and conversion to formulations• Utilized Design of Experiments to optimize formulation and application parameters• Trained six production personnel on proper production mixing procedures and Quality Assurance testing• Provided technical support to two unique finishing lines, one of which utilized over two million dollars worth of acrylate EB curable raw materials annually• Integral part of a cross-functional project team to commercialize one of the worlds shortest 100% solids UV spray finishing lines• Worked with production departments on cost savings and continuous improvement projects• Performed numerous testing protocols for both the Quality and Safety Departments• Routinely attended trade organization meetings and shows, such as RadTech North America, Society for Plastics Engineers, etc.
