Scott started Long Grove Ventures and CMIT Solutions of Arlington Heights in 2008 to begin taking all of his experiences from the corporate world into a business model structured around his strengths and passions. Long Grove Ventures does IT strategy consulting, business strategy consulting for IT companies and IT related merger and acquisition work. CMIT Solutions brings corporate quality IT services to small and mid-sized businesses using a flat-rate, managed services model. Scott later acquired CMIT Solutions of Chicagoland North in 2012, CMIT Solutions of Denver in 2015 and CMIT Solutions of Boulder in 2017.

Managing Director and Head of Global Private Wealth Management Infrastructure. Responsible for managing the Private Wealth Management division’s global Technology and Operations portfolio. Oversight of $150 million dollar annual operating budget. Member of the Global Business Management Team and the Americas Business Executive Committee.

Managing Director with line management responsibility for 300+ global Operations personnel and $100 million annual operating budget. Responsible for all aspects of Private Wealth Management back office processing for approximately $200 billion in customer assets. Responsible for all Global Wealth Management client reporting.

Managing Director and Head of Individual Investor Group Integration. Responsible for a multi-year, $100 billion dollar asset transfer initiative. Reported to CEO/CIO of Global Wealth Management and the Global Wealth Management Executive Committee. Led effort from inception through New York Stock Exchange approval.

Executive Director, Head of Resource Management and President of MSIT Holdings. Developed the resource management strategy for the Institutional Securities IT division and substantially grew offshore resource portfolio (5X). Managed and grew a proprietary IT venture capital portfolio (11X).

Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer of Institutional Securities IT. Managed staff responsible for administration, operations, human resources, real estate and finance functions of the Institutional Securities IT Department. Direct reporting line to CIO and member of the IT Management Committee.

Executive Director appointed as IT Head of Integration for the Morgan Stanley Institutional Securities Division. Responsible for successful completion of all IT related activities associated with the Morgan Stanley, Dean Witter, Discover merger. Served on Firm-wide Merger Committee and chaired IT Merger Committee. Member of multiple firm-wide committees designed to coordinate post merger integration opportunities and activities.

Vice President and IT Coverage Officer for the Private Wealth Management Division. Primary point of contact between the IT organization and Private Wealth Management division. Architected business aligned IT strategy, managed funding and budget for all IT expenditures and served as a project manager/coordinator for all IT projects.

Associate and Business Unit Technology Coordinator for Private Wealth Management group in Chicago. Relocated to London & Zurich to develop multi-lingual, multi-currency, multi-asset class portfolio reporting solutions. Setup client reporting for Morgan Stanley Bank AG, a Swiss banking subsidiary of Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Appointed by division CEO to manage global technology initiatives for Private Wealth Management and relocated to New York.
