Below are some highlights of my experience. Financial Reporting: I have been involved in the internal and external financial reporting process at all phases of my career. As controller for Doherty Enterprises I lead a team of accountants in all aspects of financial reporting including audited financial statements, partner and shareholder reporting, along with ad hoc analysis. At Merrill Lynch I developed internal product reporting for the various management units used in profitability analysis, progress reporting, and for presentation and review with C level management.• Financial Analysis: Responsible for the financial evaluation of capital investments along with mergers and acquisitions in my role as Vice President of Finance and also as Controller for a large commercial printing plant.• Forecasting: Worked as finance liaison with long range planning team. Developed models to analyze the financial impact of long and short-term management strategy. Developed processes to create monthly P&L “latest estimate” with variance explanations to budget and last estimate. • Budgeting: At Merrill Lynch I worked with senior management and developed annual budgets for the various management units ($480 million). At Lasky Company I was responsible for the entire budgeting and costing process. • Accounting Management: Creation of accounting teams at each point in my career. The deal closed with two weeks notice. The team brought 38 remote restaurants and 2,000 active employees on line in two weeks. The processes included systems integration for all daily, weekly and monthly monitoring, all banking processes, cash control, payroll, and benefits. -
