I participated in the "How to Grow (Almost) Anything 2024" course, where I focused extensively on gene editing under the direction of Professor Kong. By attending a series of specialized lectures, I gained a robust understanding of gene editing technologies and their applications. This academic engagement allowed me to critically analyze the potential impacts and ethical considerations of gene editing, enriching my knowledge base and preparing me for future endeavors in synthetic biology.
