Shaan is a young entrepreneur and founder of CARMATE Tech Centre. He has been involved in training, coaching and consulting for more than 6 years with the intention of enhancing auto knowledge and passion of young minds. Prior to starting his own business, he has worked in Mahindra & Mahindra R&D for 3 years gathering grasp on various automobile dynamics. Shaan is also an approved NSDC Lead trainer.Shaan is an expert in Vehicle Integration, Testing & Validation, Vehicle Dynamics and Automotive Product Development. Academically, Shaan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering from ADIT Vidhyanagar, Gujarat. He was involved in many national level projects, during his studies, which landed him at Mahindra. During his tenure at Mahindra, he has executed many live projects both off-shore and domestic.He is an Organizing Committee Member of Mahindra BAJA SAEINDIA, India’s largest undergraduate event. He is holding a post of Convener - Virtual BAJA SAEINDIA 2016 and is responsible for Static Event Evaluation at BAJA SAEINDIA. He is Lead Judge at various SAE Events and actively takes part in SAE International’s social initiative A World in Motion [AWIM], He is also a Professional Member of SAEINDIA.Shaan is a trained leader currently helping five automotive entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams. He is also one of the investors of two start-ups working in the field of green technology. Shaan has a vision, aligned with Prime Minister’s Make in India and Startup India, to bring out young entrepreneurs in the country.He is also the Director of Pragati Skills, which aims to establish a state-of-the-art Skill Development Centre in the country in line with the Government’s PMKVY Scheme. He is a passionate driver and certified off-road racer. He has taken part in many national level races and also won few of them. He also trains students in Race Dynamics and gives tips for making racing strategies for various competitions.
